Runaway Raspberries

Both red and yellow berries came from the orchard – the red ones were larger with a slightly finer texture.
Lime ‘n’ Lemon

Both the Lime and the Lemon were from the orchard. The smaller lime balanced nicely on the edge of the cut lemon for me.
“Out” (Avocado Stone)

Prising the stone from the Avocado to show its size alongside the creamy avocado flesh gave the title to this one.
Pippy Passionfruit

These were small passionfruit I bought from the local fruit store. I love the darkness and rich colours of the fruit interior.
Giddy Grapes

Trying to position the small bunch of grapes with the two cut grapes (to show the seeds) was fiddly and fun – that and the swirl in the bowl gave me the name.
Banana Baby

Banana Baby is one of six (Seed Series I – Fruit) painted for the Minutiae Exhibition at Rosebed Gallery, Eudlo
As I sliced and placed the small banana from our orchard into the bowl, I was given the name of this work… You might see the little character created by my placement of the slices for this painting. The vivid blue bowl from Montville Pottery provides a stunning still life background for this humble yet nourishing fruit.
